Gates & gate operators
Which gate operator brands do you carry and sell?
We carry and sell LiftMaster and All-O-Matic only. We review your gate, usage, power, and installation conditions before recommending a new operator. Explore our gate operator brands and services.
Do you service gate operators from other manufacturers?
Yes. We service all major gate operator brands. Share the brand and model if known so we can discuss the issue. Repair choices depend on the condition of the system and parts availability.

Booking, prices & our service approach
When can I call, and when do you perform service?
We answer phones from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. On-site service appointments are Monday through Friday. You can call on a weekend to discuss a problem and schedule a weekday visit. Appointment times are confirmed directly with you.
What does the $69 coupon include?
The coupon reduces our regular $165 garage door service-call and inspection price to $69. Parts, repairs, replacements, and installation are additional. We explain any recommended work and its price before you approve it. Request your email coupon and mention TB69 when booking.
Can you give me a final repair price over the phone?
We can discuss the symptoms and explain the service process. A reliable recommendation often requires checking the door, hardware, balance, and opener in person. A door that will not open can have several different causes; we do not assume that it needs a new motor from that symptom alone.
Will you replace parts that are still working?
Our approach is to inspect first and explain what we find. We discuss needed repairs and any optional upgrades separately so you can make an informed decision. A recommendation should relate to the condition and operation of your door, not a one-size-fits-all sales package.
Do you offer a lifetime spring or lifetime repair warranty?
We do not advertise a blanket lifetime spring or lifetime repair promise. Warranty coverage depends on the product and the work performed. Ask for the applicable written terms with your estimate so you understand coverage, exclusions, and any service conditions.
Springs, cables & garage door repairs
How can I tell if a garage door spring is broken?
Common signs include a loud bang, a visible separation in a torsion spring, or a door that suddenly becomes very heavy or will not lift normally. These signs are not a substitute for an inspection. Stop using the door and call; do not try to adjust a spring or force the opener to lift it.
Do I need a stronger opener if the door feels heavy?
Not necessarily. The spring system helps counterbalance the door. A failed spring, binding hardware, or another mechanical problem can make the opener struggle. We inspect the door before recommending an opener upgrade.
Can I use a garage door that is crooked or off track?
Stop operating it and keep the area clear. A cable, roller, track, or spring issue can leave the door unstable. Do not attempt to push it back into place or keep cycling the opener. Arrange an inspection so the cause can be identified safely.
Can one damaged garage door panel be replaced?
Sometimes. We consider whether a matching section is available, how much damage is present, the condition of the rest of the door, and the cost compared with replacement. We explain those tradeoffs rather than automatically recommending a complete new door.
Garage door openers
Why does my garage door reverse when closing?
An obstruction or a safety-sensor issue can cause reversal, but door movement, travel settings, wiring, or other faults can also be involved. Keep the opening clear and avoid bypassing sensors or forcing the door to close. Tell us when the reversal happens so we can inspect the system.
Should I repair or replace my opener?
We consider its age, safety features, parts availability, the fault, and the condition of the door it operates. Repair may make sense for an otherwise suitable opener. Replacement may be worth considering for an obsolete unit, repeated failures, or a need for supported safety and battery-backup features.
Can I choose a LiftMaster opener?
Yes. We work with LiftMaster openers and help select a suitable model for your door and available space. We discuss features such as drive type, battery backup, wall-mount compatibility, and connected controls without assuming every home needs the highest-feature model.
Choosing a new garage door
What garage door brands can I compare?
Our door collections include C.H.I., Elegant, Wayne Dalton, Safe-Way, and 1st United. Availability, dimensions, finishes, insulation, glazing, and warranty vary by model. You can also try our door builder to organize your preferences for an estimate.
How much headroom does a new door need?
It depends on the door, track configuration, opener, and the space around your opening. We measure headroom, side clearance, backroom, and any obstructions before specifying hardware. A low-headroom track or wall-mount opener is an option only when compatible with the complete installation.
Is an insulated garage door worth considering?
Consider how the garage is used, whether it adjoins living space, desired construction and rigidity, and your budget. Compare the complete door specification, not only a quoted insulation number. Windows, perimeter seals, installation, and the building itself affect the result.
Maintenance & preparation
What should I tell you before the appointment?
Share your ZIP code, preferred weekday, whether the door is stuck open or closed, any unusual noise, and the opener brand or model if available. Let us know about gated-community access, alley parking, or a shared garage. Do not move an unstable door just to take a photo.
What can I check safely before calling?
Keep the opening clear and check whether a remote battery or visible obstruction might explain the problem. Follow your manufacturer instructions for routine care. Avoid spring adjustments, cable work, force-setting changes, or bypassing safety devices. If the door is heavy, crooked, or damaged, stop using it.
Why should the complete system be inspected?
The door, springs, cables, rollers, tracks, opener, and safety devices work together. Looking only at the part that first appears faulty can miss the cause or another condition affecting operation. We use the inspection to explain what needs attention and help you decide on the work.
